We are pleased and honored to welcome back Dr. Daisy Century. Dr. Century is an Educator, Actress & Author. At our February 2020 Social, we were enthralled by her live performance of the life and times of Harriet Tubman.
Dr. Century will perform again for us, reenacting the life and times of Sojourner Truth, an operative during the Civil War, and a major force as an activist for civil rights and women’s rights. She is included in the Smithsonian’s list of the 100 Most Significant Americans of All Time.
Dr. Century will dress like Sojourner Truth from each particular time period and weave her story through every phase of her life. Watch as history unfolds right in front of your eyes. This is an outstanding presentation that is unique, informative, and very impressive. Don’t miss it!
We are serving wine and cheese, plus fruit and cookies, apple cider, lemonade, iced tea, and water.
