Fantastic Single Seniors: Gibbsboro Community Garden

Join us as we explore one of our area's hidden gems - the Gibbsboro Community Garden.

It is located at the head of the Blueberry Hill hiking trails on Rt. 561, and is a free, all volunteer public garden. While there, we will enjoy a walking tour guided by one of their Master Gardeners.

Some of the sights that we will see include the Pollinator Pathway, culinary and medicinal herbs, the Stonebridge rain garden, a perennial walk through, annual displays, vegetable plots, and the Hummingbird Grove.

We request everyone attending donate $5 to the Gibbsboro Community Garden.

The Gardens is located in a rather secluded spot, so let’s meet at the AMC Movie Theater parking lot, right off Rt. 561, at 10:30. From there we can all drive over to the Gardens together, only 2 miles away.

After the tour, the Spring Team is hosting an optional luncheon at the Avenue Diner (formerly Oceano's) about a mile down the road from the Gardens, at the corner of McClellan Ave and Rt. 561. They will reserve tables for us and everyone will get separate checks.
